Yea, yea, yea...it's Halloween alright. A lot of people dressed up around my neighbourhood ringing on my doorbell. But on my door, is a not saying:

Wooot...its still raya! Boy, I celebrate that! My wallets gettin' heavier, babe! Be goin to Ajax (1hr 30 mins from here) next week to Aunty Hamidah's place...and we have a "Perjumpaan Hari Raya" in 2 weeks!

I have a few minutes to spare...with so much to do, so little time. My local mosque says Raya will be tomorrow, we're following Saudi Arabia. Either way, I won't be going to school tomorrow!=)
I just finished cleaning up my room and helped mom bake cupcakes for masjid's bake sale tomorrow. I am excited about tomorrow! All the melayu family from all across Ontario (that's the province/state we live in) are coming over to my place, dressed in colourful traditional clothes...just like every yr! PLUS, the cash will start rolling in...hehehe. Ah, and all the forgiving and dramatic sadness...
I'm kinda sad about leaving the month of Ramadan too. It brought my family and a lot of other people closer together. Aye! I can't wait for tonight! We'll be putting on henna at the mosque with some friends. It's going to be a lot of fun!
Anyhow, I gotta be going....have a great one everyone!

I ain't going to school on Monday!! That's cuz its gonna be HARI RAYA!!
I've been cleaning up my room real nice for the past days...decorating and putting fancy curtains and all. Sooooo.....the cash rolls in sometime soon! =) lol. I can hardly wait to eat 24/7 again...and wear my new outfit.

Gosh, I don't understand people sometime. I put myself in their shoes, and all I understand is nothing. Like today, someone commented on my fashion sense. I appreciate your criticism, thank you very much. But how about looking at yourself, before degrading others (such as me)?
I have my own way of dressing up, and so do you. If my fashion statement offends you and hurts your eyes, maybe my imaginary friend who's a doctor can give you a cure!
Heck, I can't believe I'm upset over words someone said to me....Oh well...Im weird!

Oh man....the smell of baking cookies is KILLING me!!! And to add that this computer is in the kitchen too!!
I just finished helping my mom make choc-chip cookies + cornflakes cereal maccaroons. They're looking great. The choc-chip cookies come in odd shapes and sizes, by the way. Don't blame me for my 'accidental-creativity', aight?
Anywho, I'm kinda feeling woozy right now....I think it's because of the lack of food my body digested! I only ate like a couple slices of bagels and a cup of hot-choc this morning. Far from my regular 'dinner leftover'. PLUS, we were running outside in the cold for phys-ed. I very much enjoyed it, because my goal is to be in first place for the 3km run. I came in 3rd, YiKeS!! I was sooo close.....but my legs failed me.... Oh yeah, and my other goal is to grow some leg muscles =). That way, I can kick some real butt one day, if someone ever dares to get on my nerve!! (Ain't I sweet?!)

Yesterday....the best thing ever happened!
I FINALLY ended my craving of MUSHROOM MELT BURGER!
You know the ones you guys have at Burger King in SG? Well, I tried it once there, and I loved it. Before I returned to Canada, I forgot to pack them in my luggage. Heck, I was too busy thinking about leaving and weight limit and saying goodbye, I forgot to even buy a burger!
So you see, when I returned here, I've had these cravings...I wanted to ask my mom to make them, but we ran out of burger meat, plus, weather's getting too cold for bbq!...and well, we've been too busy anyway (making cookies for Raya).
Anyhow, at Aunty Za's house yesterday, she made these burgers:
They had tender meat, sauced with melted cheese mushrooms!

Weather condition: FREEZNG & SNOWING!
I can't believe it when I looked out the window in school today!! FIRST snow of the year...in
AUTUMN OCTOBER! We're in for some real sick winter this yr for sure!
Anyhow, I had a half day today. Teachers had to reorganize some class stuff. Me, Angie, Sarah
and Robbie decided to help out our gr.7 teacher after school. Then, I helped out with the play
auditions....(we had a second cut, cuz theres too many kids!).
Gots our mark update today:
Im the highest in phys-ed = 87% (But I think there's room for improvement)
Second highest in English = 91% (Just hope I can keep this !)
Dunno what I gots for History & Francais....but w/e it is..
IM LOVIN' HISTORY, BABY!

So anyhow, Raya is in a couple of weeks! I most definitely can't wait to wear my new Baju Kurung we custom-made in SG. Plus, this is the time of the year when the cash rolls in!! =)
Last year, my sis and I joined our 'raya bank accounts' and bought a fender acoustic guitar. We're both still learning, Irah's taking guitar lessons in school. This year, I have decided to spend it all in a clothes shopping spree! =) That, and maybe to save up for my drivers' license test cost....or a car!

Okay, I decided for a change of layout! A little 'frenchie' a little 'green-y'. JUST LIKE ME! lol
So, yesterday, we had an 'ALL NIGHTER' at aunty Nafiza's place in Markham. A lot of people went and it was awesome! We ate, stayed up until 2:00 a.m, talked all night, took pictures, slept for an hour, prayed, ate some more, and went home at 7:00 a.m.
Uh-huh....only 1 hour of sleep! Or should I say nap?? Anyhow, I slept like a dead elephant when I got back and woke up at 3:00p.m! The advantage to waking up late is I only had to wait for 3hrs more until I break my fast...LoL. I ate like an elephant too!! I'll probably look like one in a couple of months.
Hmm, Im wide awake now and will be going to school in 15mins. Im thinking ahead about winter this year. I haven't been skiing since two years. I really can't wait until we ice-skate again. The weatherman says its gonna snow this Friday....SNOW in OCTOBER! That's like an oxymoron, two opposite words coming together! >.<
We'll see what the future holds!=)

What's up: Auditions for the play went well. A lot of talented kids this year. We have 57 kids who are talented and only 37 casts in the play!!! It will be tough to cut them down cuz they are all sooooo talented! We'll see how things go for the callbacks next week....
Aye, I got to run! Be going off to the library for some history researching!

Heya again! Haven't written in awhile. I do apologise for that...been quite busy with school stuff lately!
We had a Terry Fox Walk/Run on Fri. I wanted to run, but a teacher commented on how 'JEANS are innapropriate for running', which forced me and a lot of other friends of mine to forfeit the run and just walk instead....so yeah, Im pretty mad, but hey Terry would've been proud of my running spirit!
In case you didn't know, Terry Fox is a Canadian hero, who attempted to run across Canada in the spirit of rasing money for Cancer. He actually ran almost halfway across Canada on one leg and a prosthetic one in 1980's. He died 26 years ago, yet his spirit still lives on.
Here's watsup:
1) We just had a super cool 'buka puasa' in Ajax (1hr 30 mins from where I live) yesterday at Aunty Hamida's house (aka Mama's bestfriend).
2) Tonight is our Iftar (buka puasa) at our local mosque, and a lot of people are gonna taste our trad-food!!
3)I am gonna help out my 8thGrade teachers with the Middle School Play (It's the Shakespeare's AS YOU LIKE IT, this year). Auditions start tomorrow, and guess what?! IM on the JUDGING panel! Just like last year =) I can't wait for some Dramatic FUN-ness!
4)Breen is taking off 5 questions for the history quiz to people who donated $5 to Terry Fox Foundation! (Apparently, I have a lot more procrastination time this week!!)
5) My french-ies and I kicked serious butt (that meant we rocked the school) with our french-restaurant presentation!!
Life ROCKS out LOUD....for now =)
