SELAMAT BERPUASA!This is the first time in five years my family break our fast at 7:00 p.m!! We're so used to eating by 5:00 or 4:30....it's just that we wont be hitting the Daylight Saving time this year!!

Let's have some fun with the picts today! =) LoL, that's a pict of Ellys, me and Ela when we were around 3-5 years old. Taken at my old house in CCK...man I remembered doing stupid things at that house. I once covered both my eyes with the Vick's methanol petroleum jelly. Well, lets just say I got really 'teary' after....
Ela, Ellys & I had one heck of a childhood. We grew up together, we would play our Uncle's boardgame 'Dungeon' or some card game, and would often sleep over at our grandparents' place over the weekends. I miss
those times !!
On the left is the pict of us again. Only this was taken on my last day in SG, at Changi Airport. We're all grown up, for sure! But I must say, that we are still the best of friends like we were when young. =) Gosh, somethings just never change! And I'll proudly say, they will stay the same forever! What's next? A pict of us three entering adulthood? lol, we'll have to wait about another five years for that! Anyhow, I am really missing people right now...lol

Weekend is always a good excuse for teachers to pile up with homework...
=) Im done 'em....except for Paradox Poster & French to study for....
Oh yeah, procrastinating is always fun! lol.
So erm, nothing new. Except yesterday was 70's day and I saw a lot of teachers dressed as Hippies! Pretty amusing...lol.
Apparently, theres nothing to do this weekend but chill at home. Meh...Im kinda glad. =) Relaxing is totally fine by me...

Mr. Breen taught us how to cook during History...hahahaha. It was hilarious! He was trying to make us remember the events that lead to World War I through a 'cooking show'! Oh, and he started rapping too, something about the Triple Alliance & Triple Entente....lol
Deeply amusing...but hey, I officialy declare History the best class to be in! =)

Today was a normal day...! LoL. The exclamation mark is there in umm, the spirit of "Jersey Day" in school today. So, as some of you know, I own not a single sports jersey. I decided to wear the Adidas 'soccer-ish' jersey that my uncle left behind when he last visited here with my aunt. I looked like a single stick in a pillowcase , but I didn't mind! =) It's all about the school spirit, man!
Anyhow, I'm lovin' history! =) I scored full marks on a French quiz today! Oh yeaaaaaaah! French is my best subject ;)
So uh...other than that, nothing else. Im gonna start 'devoir-ing' (that's French of Hmk-ing, pronounced DAY-Voo-AH)

I woke up this morning with both legs sore and my back hurting. Yikes! I'm having a hard time walking too. That's because we did a lot of FUN stuff during phys-ed yesterday!! (no kidding!)
Okay, and umm, the first day of school with the counselling of 9'ners weren't so bad. If you think Im tall in SG, you should REALLY see the grade 9's this year. I am like a dwarf compared to them!! But I had fun hanging out with them and guess what?! Our team came in second place for the games!!! =) They are really nice 9'ers, by the way. Oh and my co-counsellor, Alex, and I made a lot of new friends...
It's only been the first week of school and I'm piled with homework. =) Im done them, just have to study for French quiz. Anyhow! My teachers are pretty nice this semester....
Ms. Adams (phys-ed/fitness) said we'll be doing Yoga, Martial Arts stuff & Pilates sometime this year! I can hardly wait...They sound like fun. As for French, Madamoiselle Stevens seem pretty nice. Most of my close friends are in this class, by the way. Ms. Theodoridis for English is pretty cool. She seem to like the music I like! =D As for History, Mr. Breen is kickbutt funny!! He jokes around...like 98% of the period!
Cool stuff....anyhow, I'll keep updating about school later! =)

That part of a lyric really explains how I feel right now. I have done so many things this summer, I cannot believe that today is officially the last day of my summer vacation! Tomorrow is when school begins again.I am thrilled to have all my favourite courses this semester....especially History. I am probably the only person in 10th grade who enjoys this course.
I have volunteered to be a counsellor for the 9th graders this year for their orientation. So, tomorrow, while everyone else gets half day for school, us counsellors and 9'ers will have some fun in the sun. We'll see how things go tomorrow.
If there is anything I want to do right now, it will be replaying my whole summer again. Reliving the excitement before I left Canada, entering Singapore and enjoying the company of everyone but I will leave out the 'goodbyes and farewells' only to have everyone travel all the way here, where I am now.
That is perfection, baby.. ;)

The craziness kept us warm =)What started out as a morning to go to our annual tradition of apple picking with other Canadian Malay families ended up as a pretty interesting Saturday! We arrived at Orchalaw Pick-your-own-apple Farm at around 11:00 a.m. The rainy weather did not cooperate with us and our favourite type of apple, Tomlin Sweet, wasn't ready yet (at least not until a month time!). So we decided to continue ahead with our picnic...and did I mention the "rainy weather did not cooperate with us"? lol
It was raining pretty bad and the temperature was pretty cold, about 15*C or less. When we arrived, everyone were having doubts about the whole picnic. But my parents insisted we continue as some said the weather was perfect for fishing.
So we tied a huge canvas on some trees and started the barbeque. The rain stopped but it was pretty cold and all that kept me warm was my cup of hot tea and my sweater. =) I didn't complain because I was having a lot of fun...
About three hours later, it started raining again pretty badly and our canvas-of
-a
-tent started to fall out pretty bad. Turns out, our Dad and his fishing crew couldn't catch a fish because the thunder probably scared the fishes away...
So we decided to continue at someone's house. Pretty awesome day!...I realised, my family has held picnics in all seasons and weather;
