POETRY for English Unit!! =) How awesome is that?! I think poems are romantic... The only problem is, I stink and often have to wait for inspirations! >.< It took me hours to come up with this..due tomorrow, by the way! :
AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL POEM
I am passionate and imaginative
I wonder if I mean the world to someone out there
I hear my heart beat to the rhythm of my emotions
I see frozen pictures flashing before my eyes
I want to relive my whole summer with my distant cousins and friends
I am passionate and imaginative
I pretend to stroll by the beach under the moonlight and the falling stars
I feel lonely and trapped in my own world sometimes
I touch the falling sky every winter and love the smell of spring
I worry of being forgotten in a country I once called home
I cry should my tender heart be broken, yet knowing I will carry on
I am passionate and imaginative
I understand the true value of friendship and swear to cherish it
I say nobody deserves to starve and be abandoned
I dream of us ending poverty and acknowledge it as a prophecy
I try to change the path of fate, but often find myself tangled in the present
I hope to seek adventure and travel the world
